Scope and Contents

Translated postcard caption reads, "9 - Native village. Kisantu."
Manuscript message and address on verso. Message reads, "Un remerciement ... Translated message reads, "A heart felt thanks to our benefactor the Lady Baroness de Tavereau who continues her kind and affectionate protection. The dear poor sick people and their humble nurses will pray with gratitude at the Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes for the happiness and health of the lady Baroness and the lord Baron and their dear children. The work of the Sacred Heart humbles ones in a visible fashion. In the Hainaut, I was able to find 4 important sections in Charleroi, Luttre, Châtelet, Mettet, and Gosselies where they dedicate themselves to the great cause of the Good Lord and the souls. Our stand at the Belgian Colony in Ch. has already had much success. Des Gratias."
Postmarked postage stamp on verso, postmark reads: "2 VII 1911."
