Translated title reads, "Missions of the White Fathers-Central Africa. Native Orchestra." Additional printed text on recto reads: "Edit, Imp J. Bernard, St Etienne."
Manuscript message and address on verso, date reads: "3/5/33." Postmarked postage stamps on verso: "St Leger (Luxemb)."
Translated text on verso reads, "Happy to recive your nice letter, and I have been very touched with the memories that you keep of me. I have just returned to the country after 3 1/2 months in Algeria. I returned via Rome whre I spend 11 days. I was there for Easter. I am travelling for fun (...) The time will still pass very quickly. I must pack my minks and in September take the boat. Needless to say without regret. One feels a stranger in Belgium and I hasten to return to Urundi (...) keep well all of you and see you soon." Addressed to Mr et Me Moutarle, Administrateur à Usumbura (Urundi Belge) via Suez."
