Postmarks on verso. Stamp removed.
Translated manuscript on verso reads: [Paris, April 25, 1927 - My dear General Consul and friend - It has been a while since I have received any news from you, which I hope are still good- I translated, as I wrote to you, the article which you dedicated in ''O Seculo'', to the precursors of Columbus, in the intention to advertise your erudition, but, due to a negligence, everything is lost and I am really bothered ! Could you send me a new copy of Seculo which contained the article. Thanks in advance - Maybe you didn't receive my last postcard ? It is true it was during troubled times. Yours faithfully E. Cravoisier. Addressed to: Mr. Antonio Ferreira de Serpa - Former General Consul - Campo Grande, 156- Lisbonne - Portugal.]
