The Bab el-Amara of Ptolemy III at the temple of Khonsu, Karnak, Egypt

"The temple of Khonsu at Karnak also received a monumental gate, the Bab el-Amara. The gate was completed but not the flanking pylon towers, which combined measured 70m. The 21m high gate, with its harmonious proportions and splendid relief decoration, is certainly one of the most beautiful remaining buildings of Ptolemaic architecture."
