Ocean freighter "Marylyn" leaving the riberbank to sail down the Benin River, Sapele, Nigeria

Original title reads, "At confluence of Ethiope and Jameson rivers, where they join to form the Benin River, the freighter Marylyn, London, maneuvring out from the river bank to leave. Ship in bacground is the Kalewa, an Elder Dempster Lines vessel; grey powder on sides is from unloading cargo of cement. Marylyn is high in water because there is only 12 foot clearance at Escravos bar which they must cross before reaching the Bight of Benin, which gives on the Gulf of guinea."
