Scope and Contents
Original title reads, "Juice condensers at Lafia Canning Factory in Ibadan, Western Region of Nigeria. The plant is owned and operated by the Western Region Production Development Board. In the pictures are shown two juice condensers in which orange juice is being reduced to a six-to-one concentration for canning and export to the U.K.." [Elisofon field notes, August 1959-December 1959]
This photograph was taken when Eliot Elisofon was on assignment for Life magazine and traveled to Africa from August 18, 1959 to December 20, 1959.
