Massive papyrus columns at the pronaos of Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos. Kom Ombo, Egypt

"The temple house of Ptolemy VI Philometor was embellished by a magnificent proanos of 12 m high columns arranged in rows of three-by-five. The column bases have heavily chamfered edges and stand on square plinths raised slightly above the pavement. The selection of capital types also uses two New Kingdom forms, the palm column and the Ramesside bell-shaped papyrus capital on a planed-out shaft.
