"The Wodaabe are pastoral nomads who keep mahogany-coloured cattle. Besides Zebu cattle, the Wodaabe keep sheep, goats, donkeys and camels." [Bovin M., 2001: Nomads Who Cultivate Beauty. Nordiska afrikainstitutet]. This photograph was taken when Eliot Elisofon traveled to Africa from March 17, 1970 to July 17, 1970.
