Commemorative reenactment of the Great Trek, Potchefstroom, South Africa

Original title reads, "One of the actual treks made in 1838 came right along the foothills of the mountains seen in the distance. The trekkers crossed the Vaal River and settled near Potchefstroom, a little to the north in Transvaal. Ina Van der Walt, 18, of Middleburg, a student at Potchefstroom University; and Carol Cameron, 18, of Cape Town, also a student at Potchefstroom University, wear costumes somewhat similar to those worn by voortrekker women."
