General

Folkways 7854 CDR copy- Recorded on location by Henrietta Yurchenco. Tape Info: Primarily, children's songs & games from Ecuador (basically identical to side A of Folkways Record 7854). Recorded in Ecuador by Henrietta Yurchenko in 1975. Includes some talk and a false start, which presumably not included on Folkways record. Following children's songs are two instrumentals featuring flute accompanied by guitar (higher pitched guitar-like instrument on 2nd instrumental) which are not identified, but possibly Ecuadoran. Children's songs on side A of tape, instrumentals on side B, ends abruptly in second instrumental. See front for selection listing & precise durations, and copy of back of original tape box.
