CDR copy. recorded 21 June 1955 at the Conneely's guest house in Kilmurvey, Aran Islands. Singing is Miss Marie McDonough age 25 of Rossavel, Connemara, a nurse visiting Aran in order to teach a first aid course. She learned songs from her mother, grandmother and school. These are short songs which Cowell wrote in her notes she was very interested in, but had a hard time getting people to sing. Reel No.16.
