CDR copy FW-ASCH-7RR-2747 The back of the tape box has the name and address: Southern Music Co., LTD, 8 Denmark St., London, W.C.2., England. A recording date of 9/10/1957 is also on the tape box, as well as the notation "Skiffle Salad (2)". The songs are sung to a jazz accompaniment, relate to southern U.S. subjects, and sound (to my ear) newly written, by persons who never had contact with the South. The performers are unidentified.
