Scope and Contents

Darryl Croxton reads poetry written by Paul Laurence Dunbar, Angelina Weld Grimke, Anne Spencer, Georgia Douglas Johnson, Claude McKay, Langston Hughes, Owen Dodson, Countee Cullen, Richard Wright, and other African American poets. John Kinard provides introduction to the poetry reading and encourages visitors to provide comments and suggestions via the suggestion box. Kinard provides a description for the current exhibit, The Sage of Anacostia, about Frederick Douglass.
