This image shows the facades of buildings on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, the center of the image is occupied by 1930 Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, which is adorned with an American flag and signs that read 'Anacostia Black Unity register and vote' and 'The call is now! Making history in D.C. Recall the D.C. Mayor. Wake up you are a power', the image was taken during a 1984 planning survey of the Anacostia area.
