Scope and Contents

Promotional poster for the Fifth Annual Harlequin Ball, presented by the D.C. Art Association (DCAA) for the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration. The event benefited the Anacostia Neighborhood Museum, and the DCAA's Scholarship Awards, Educational and Community Visual Arts Program. The event was held in the Rotunda of the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, and included music and food. Costumes were encouraged. Includes a short history of DCAA and information about the Harlequin Ball, as well as lists of DCAA members, officers, and Harlequin Ball Committee. DCAA Members include: Annabelle Bacot; E.
