Scope and Contents

The Phelps-Stokes Fund sub-series contains material Patterson collected during his tenure (1953-1970) as president of the Fund. Included in the sub-series is a booklet/scrapbook containing congratulatory correspondence sent to Patterson in 1953 in response to his resignation from Tuskegee and appointment to the presidency of the Stokes Fund.
