Although there is no Curt Teich imprint on the card, the number R-31531 suggests that it was produced around 1912-1913. In the distance is the monument commemorating the Battle of Bennington. In the right middle distance is a monument on the site of the former Catamount Tavern. The tavern served as headquarters for Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys, as well as headquarters for General John Stark, commander of American forces at the Battle of Bennington (16 August 1777).
