General

For what appears to be a newly constructed house Lois W. Poinier designed geometric areas with minimal planting (although there is a lack of images of the completed project). Bricks were used as edging for the pea gravel walkways, patio, and planting areas.
Persons associated with the property include Lois W. Poinier (garden designer) and Sir Frederick Hervey-Bathurst, 6th Baronet (1903-1995) and Lady Hervey-Bathurst (formerly Cornelia Shepard Riker), former owners. The couple married in 1958.
