General

This project on Templar Way involved expansion of an existing brick patio that involved removal of an existing large tree. A low brick wall was built to separate the patio from the adjacent lawn and a fountain and small lily pond was incorporated into the brick wall. Surrounding trees and shrubs beyond the lawn provided privacy as well as shade. Before and after images are included.
Persons associated with the garden include: Lois W. Poinier (garden designer) and Garrison Robert Rice and Janet Wood Rice (former owners). Janet Wood Rice was a member of the Summit Garden Club.
