General
Lois W. Poinier designed landscaping during the late 1950s for both the front and back of this property on Lakeview Avenue. At the front she installed a border separating the lawn from the street that featured a variety of small trees and shrubs. At the back of the house a terrace was built with steps leading down to a lawn area. The lawn was encircled by an informal border featuring azaleas, other shrubs, and spring flowering bulbs such as tulips. Before and after images are included.
Persons associated with the garden include: Lois W. Poinier (garden designer, ca. 1955-1960) and the Maher family (former owenrs).
