General
This garden was designed by Lois Poinier in 1967 and was located on Wellington Avenue in Short Hills. The slides document the appearance of the site before and after installation. The project involved construction of an outdoor living area and wooden fencing and the installation of shrubs and borders, all at the back of the property. A small fountain and pool were included in the design, and the existing back stoop and steps were refurbished. The full name of the former owner who commissioned the work is not known.
