General

This garden was designed by Helen Page Wodell after 1945 and was well-established by the 1950s. The slides document the appearance of the site before and after landscaping. A driveway was replaced by a stone wall topped with a picket fence to define a terrace. The terrace featured a central lawn area, with bulb and perennial borders on the sides. Specimen and flowering trees, as well as additional lawn areas, filled the rest of the garden.
Persons associated with the garden include: Helen Page Wodell (garden designer, ca. 1945-1955) and Mr. and Mrs. Worthington Campbell (former owner).
