"Two separate facilities with opposed activities (chancery and residence) are major factors in this design which reduces pedestrian access to a secondary consideration. . . The architectural style is distinctive and original interpretation of a limestone and red brick English country house: late 17th century from the avenue, early 18th century from the garden. . . - clipping from a book."
