General
Fayrview is both a formal walled English courtyard garden filled with roses, peonies, and other perennials in border gardens, as well as a shady woodland garden filled with mature, towering trees, some from at least 1914 when the house was built. The two cast stone fountains create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.
Persons associated with the garden's design include: Jef Naunchik (horticulturist/designer (2000- ); Dennis Hastert (gardener, 2004- ), Jack Douglas (landscape architect, 2000).
