Villa Rose, is located twenty miles south of San Francisco and is the residence of Mr. J. D. Grant. The sunken Italianate gardens are south of the house and feature a rectangular reflecting pond, rose standards and an orangery and fountain at the far end of the gardens. The house is Italian renaissance style. Front view when owned by Charles R. Blyth.
