Scope and Contents

Printed material includes exhibition announcements, catalogs, magazines, newspapers, and clippings, and calendars. Noteworthy items include brochures for tours of Japan led by Chiura and Haruko Obata; copies of TREK and Topaz Times which were published by Japanese Americans incarcerated at Topaz; copies of California Monthly with covers by Obata; material from the War Relocation Authority; a copy of the 1948 Sierra Club Base Camp; printed material related to Miné Okubo; and copies of books by and about Obata.
