Scope and Contents

Found are extensive notes including research notes, notebooks, and notecards and titled writings by Florence Arquin. Notes are primarily hand-written and contain research and some background material on a wide variety of subjects, including educational programs developed by Arquin. Titled writings by Arquin include her a draft of her manuscript on Diego Rivera, Diego Rivera (1886-1957): The Shaping of an Artist (Early Period--1889-1921). Writings by others are by Justino Fernández, Jose G. Montes de Oca, Jose de Souza Pedreira, Hilla Rebay, and Diego Rivera.
