Object Details
Description
This slogan was used on paper buttons worn by delegates at the 1977 National Women’s Conference who opposed the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Signs with the same slogan were used by women in anti-ERA demonstrations including one in 1978 in Moorhead, Minnesota. Demonstrators hoped to persuade members attending the American Lutheran Church convention to vote against supporting the ERA.
