Identification on verso (handwritten): Carmen and Roberto; Giacometti (sculptor); Paris; taken by M. Walton 1922 in the sculptor's studio at the Academie de la Grand Chaumiere. Bourdelle [?] was the maitre [?], Carmen was Rodin's mod[el].
Though the note on verso suggests the man in the photo is named Roberto, it is presumed that it is Alberto Giacometti.
