    Description (Brief)

    Al McBean (b. 1938) was one of many players featured on collectible coins made by Topps and included in packs of baseball cards.
    McBean was a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1961-68, 1970) San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Dodgers (1969). A native of the Virgin Islands, the right hander performed primarily as a reliever, amassing 63 saves over the course of his career.
