Description

This Water Conservation Issue stamp commemorates the seventh annual Watershed Congress, held in Washington, DC. The stamp was issued to stress the importance of water conservation and the need to protect such an important natural resource. The stamp depicts a drop of water falling from a leaf, as well as a landscape featuring a lake, town and farm.
