Description
This Forest Scene Issue stamp commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Theodore Roosevelt, the twenty-sixth President of the United States. The stamp was issued to publicize forest conservation. Roosevelt was one of the first American leaders to promote the need to preserve and protect the nation’s natural resources.
