Description
The 33-cent Year 2000 stamp was issued in Washington, DC, on December 27, 1999. The stamp was designed by Carl Herrman of Carlsbad, California, and illustrated by J.C. Leyendecker.
The Banknote Corporation of America, Inc. printed 120 million stamps in self-adhesive panes of twenty in the offset process with microprinting "USPS."
