Description

The Locomotives Stamps booklet of twenty 29-cent stamps was issued on July 28, 1994, in Chama, New Mexico.

The stamps feature five locomotive designs -- the Buchanan's No. 999, Eddy's No. 242, Ely's No. 10, Hudson's General, and McQueen's Jupiter.

Designed by Richard Leech of Orinda, California, the stamps were produced in the photogravure process by Stamp Venturers, Inc.
