Description
The 29-cent Elvis Presley commemorative stamp went on sale January 8, 1993, in Memphis, Tennessee. This stamp commemorates 'The King of Rock and Roll' and depicts the young Elvis. Over a million people in a nationwide vote chose the design earlier that year.
Designed by Mark Stutzman, the stamps were produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in the photogravure process.
