The 1966 World Series pitted the American League’s Orioles, led by the AL MVP, triple-crown winner Frank Robinson and gold glove third baseman Brooks Robinson against the National League;s Los Angeles Dodgers, featuring pitching aces Don Drysdale and Cy Young winner Sandy Koufax. The Orioles won the series in decisive fashion, 4-0.
