Description

Cotton chiffon dress in a multi-shaded green floral print with a few splashes of black. Shirred bodice; full gathered skirt extends to just below knee; a strapless neckline except for a narrow single strap on both sides; bodice boned in front; hidden light green metal zipper inset in center back. Above zipper is a metal hook and eye. Decorated with two moss-green cotton velveteen ribbon "flanges" that cross in center front. In the back the same ribbon (1.5" wide) borders the top of the dress with a folded bow covering the zipper; the bow has a snap on its left side which is snapped to the dress after being zipped into dress. Skirt is lined in an off-white organza. Skirt appears to have been shortened. Dress worn as part of donor's Maid of Cotton tour.
