The Smithsonian Craft2Wear Show, the Washington, D.C., area’s premier show and sale of contemporary wearable art, will take place Sept. 26–28 with more than 70 participating artists from across the U.S. The show features handcrafted jewelry, accessories and clothing at a wide range of prices. Shoppers can spend a day among the most talented artisans and their one-of-a-kind creations. Tickets are available for purchase in advance online and at the door.

This year, Smithsonian Craft2Wear will take place at a new location, the historic Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building. It is located on the National Mall between the Smithsonian Castle and Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, near the Smithsonian Metro Stop: Blue, Orange and Silver Lines.

The show is open Friday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 28. Hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. on Sunday. General admission tickets are $20 at the door or in advance online, and $15 on Sunday. Discounted tickets for students (with ID) or groups of 10 or more are $15 each.

This year, the show includes a Silent Auction of donated items from the artists. Bidding closes at 3 p.m. on Sunday. A café will offer breakfast and lunch throughout the weekend.
