Smithsonian Closings for Hurricane Sandy

The National Zoo and all Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. and New York are closed on Tuesday, Oct. 30, due to Hurricane Sandy. The National Zoo and Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. will open on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian George Gustav Heye Center in New York remains closed.
