Lisa Thomas

Lisa Thomas (Cherokee descent), headlines a piano recital featuring music of Native American composers and composers from the “Indianist School” and composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Friday, July 23, at the National Museum of the American Indian. This concert features music of Native American composers, composers from the “Indianist School,” and composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Thomas earned her doctorate in piano performance from the University of North Texas. Thomas will also perform at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 24.
