Ada Sotomayor de Vaca examining Chiquitano products in 2007. The 40th anniversary celebration of the Inter-American Foundation features the Arts and Artisans from Bolivia and the Peruvian Island of Taquile, Friday, June 11, through Sunday, June 20 at the National Museum of the American Indian. The indigenous presenters and participants of this 10-day festival are from the eastern lowlands of Bolivia. They will demonstrate and sell a wide array of products and crafts, including weavings, embroidery, pottery, sculptures and paintings.
