See outstanding examples of 500 years of British silver work from antique pieces to modern jewelry. Among the antique pieces are such masterworks as King Charles II's Coronation Tankard, made in 1661; a coffee pot made by Benjamin Byne in 1707; and a great dish made in 1741 by Paul de Lamarie, who is considered the masterpiece of Britain's greatest goldsmith. Modern silver pieces include Anthony Elson's "Moon Trophy," commissioned by the Goldsmith's company in 1971 to commemorate man's first landing on the moon, and works by Louis Osman.
