This 2-part exhibition explores the relationship between photography and identity. The first section features historical photographs of Native peoples with commentary by Native Americans, including writer Leslie Marmon Silko (Laguna Pueblo), artist/curator Gerald McMaster (Plains Cree), and painter Juane Quick-To-See Smith (Flathead). The second section features works by three contemporary Native American photographers: Jolene Rickard (Tuscarora), Hulleah Tsinhnahjinnie (Seminole-Creek-Navajo), and David Neel (Kwagiutl).
