This exhibition features 15 works, alongside 6 new works, by New York, Native American abstract painter Mario Martinez (Yaqui). Several significant Yaqui objects and images chosen by the artist from the museum's collection are also included in the installation. Curated by Gerald McMaster (Plains Cree and member of the Siksika Nation).
This rotating exhibition (on view Jan. 29, 2005 - April 9, 2006) will feature works by New York-based, Native American artists.
