In honor of astronaut Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), on view are his A-7 lunar extravehicular visor and his A-7 lunar extravehicular gloves. Armstrong wore these items when he walked on the surface of the moon. They were among the most visible parts of his Apollo 11 spacesuit and were designed specifically to deal with the hazards of working on the lunar surface.
