Bronze memorials by Todd McGrain depict extinct species of North American birds: the great auk, Labrador duck, heath hen, and Carolina parakeet (Haupt Garden) and the passenger pigeon (Bird Garden). They are subtle, hopeful reminders of our duty to prevent further extinctions.
