This small exhibition explores the history of navigation from the ancient mariners to the latest satellite technology. On view are models, photographs, and Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) devices to illustrate the impact this new technology is having around the world. GPS is an aerospace technology that uses satellite and ground equipment to determine one's location anywhere on Earth.
