Nearly 90 paintings, sculptures and graphics include images of domesticated animals, wild animals and mythological and fantastic creatures as well as caricatures and abstract works inspired by animal themes.

Among the 53 artists included are Antoine-Louis Barye, Alexander Calder, Alberto Giacometti, George Grosz, Andre Masson, Claes Oldenberg, Nathan Oliviera, Francois Pompon, Albert Pinkham Ryder, David Smith, Joseph Stella, and Graham Sutherland.

This is one of more than 30 shows around the world to mark conservation efforts of the World Wildlife Fund.
