The approximately 30 works in the exhibition illustrate textile trends in Poland between 1960 and 1976. Among the artists is the internationally known Magdalena Abakanowicz; other artists well-known in Poland are seen here for the first time.
The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Art of the Polish People's Republic and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES).
