District of Kentucky, embracing the state of Kentucky, 2d U.S. Infantry Headquarters at Louisville - District of Middle Tennessee embracing Middle Tennessee - 34th U.S. infantry headquarters at Nashville. District of West Tennessee, embracing West Tennessee 25th U.S. infantry headquarters at Memphis. District of Chattanooga - embracing the line of the Memphis and Charleston R.R. west to Inka, the line of the Western & Atlantic R.R. south to the Etowah River, the line of the railroad northeast to the Virginia line, taking in Northern Georgia and Alabama, and East Tennessee - 33d U.S. infantry
